The Advanced Placement Studio Art Scoring Guidelines is a grading rubric designed for students who have completed AP coursework in studio art. The guidelines assess the quality of a student's portfolio for either 2-D or 3-D visual art, using six principles of design (Unity/Variety, Balance/Emphasis/Contrast, Rhythm, Repetition, Proportion/Scale, and Figure/Ground Relationships).
